There are several cases here:

  • You are using “Page Builder”:
    To control the “First News Excerpt Length” please check “Blocks Settings” in the page builder, check this screenshot:

  • You are using “Blog Layout” or “Recent Posts” box with blog layout style:
    Check (Sahifa TiePanel >> Archives Settings >> Excerpt Length)
